Sea kayaking initiation course
In this course you will learn the basics of sea kayaking to acquire autonomy and manage your boat safely. You will learn to navigate in a closed sea kayak, control it efficiently and apply basic paddling and propulsion techniques. Ideal for those who want to get started in this sport and enjoy the coast of Denia and Javea, just a short trip from Valencia.
Theoretical/practical concepts
Knowledge of the kayak and its equipment: Learn the parts of your kayak and how to correctly use all the necessary equipment.
Paddling and propulsion techniques: Master the basic movements to move forward and maneuver efficiently.
Safe boarding and disembarking: Learn how to enter and exit the kayak in a stable and controlled manner.
Rescue and self-rescue techniques: Acquire safety at sea with assisted rescue and self-rescue maneuvers.
Navigation basics: Familiarize yourself with orientation and safety on the coast of the Costa Blanca.
Characteristics of the course
Level: Beginners, ideal for those who are new to sea kayaking.
Duration: Two sessions of 2 to 3 hours, to learn at your own pace and with personalized attention.
Price: 70€ per session and per person. Super small groups of 2 to 4 people per instructor, ensuring individual attention.
Minimum age: 14 years old.
What is included: Qualified instructor, sea kayak, vest, helmet, paddle, wetsuit, wetsuit, accident and liability insurance.
What to bring: T-shirt, swimsuit, appropriate footwear for wet weather, hat, sunscreen and sunglasses.
